I'm Zhao Yuan, a software engineer at GIC Labs in Singapore.
I like building things end to end. I started with native Android apps, moved on to React and Next.js on the web, and I'm comfortable with the cloud and Linux plumbing behind them. I studied computer networks and streaming media systems at NUS School of Computing.
Away from work I keep learning in public: course projects, Udacity nanodegrees, small experiments and notes to my future self. This page has been online since 2020.
